Description

The Simandou Project is the largest undeveloped iron ore resource in the world. It is in the south eastern part of Guinea in the rainforest, and an environmentally sensitive region. With challenging access, steep mountainous terrain, and lack of infrastructure, it was one of the most difficult and rewarding projects that Ore Search has been involved in. Working to the
highest standards of health and safety and environmental management, Ore Search was able to successfully deliver high rates of productivity and quality of core as part of a major program for Rio Tinto.
